Located in Xingcheng Road Street, Licang District, Qingdao, the main construction content of the project includes the construction of a new seawater desalination plant, and the renovation of water intake projects such as the seawater lake diversion pump station and water intake pump house, as well as the laying of external supporting pipelines. The total investment of this project is approximately 707 million yuan, with a designed daily output of 100000 cubic meters of desalinated seawater. The construction period is about one year, and the internationally leading dual membrane process is adopted. After completion, with the original desalination capacity of 100000 cubic meters, the daily production capacity of Baifa Seawater Desalination Plant will reach 200000 cubic meters, becoming the largest membrane desalination project in China and the largest municipal water supply demonstration project. The construction of this project will further enhance the water supply guarantee capacity of Qingdao and improve the water quality of the city. It is not only the opening work to welcome the "14th Five Year Plan" and accurately assist in the "Ocean Offensive", but also marks a new stage in the development of Qingdao's seawater desalination industry.
