This project is an important layout for Qinghai Province to implement the "dual carbon" strategy and achieve green transformation and development of enterprises. It is also a key "incremental" project of Western Hydropower Company.
At the same time, this project is a substantial step taken by Qinghai Provincial Investment Corporation to vigorously implement energy conservation and consumption reduction, actively implement the "Qinghai Provincial Carbon Peak Implementation Plan", promote the "Four Transformations" strategic deployment of the National Power Investment Corporation, and explore and practice the new model of "aluminum industry+photovoltaic".
The total design capacity of this project is 17.9MWp, adopting a "spontaneous self use" mode, with an average annual power generation of about 27.486 million kWh. It can save about 8600 tons of standard coal per year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 25600 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 95.08 tons, truly achieving green energy supply and consumption.
